The Feta PDO of Mountainous Trichonida, Familia series, is produced mainly from sheep's milk coming from the mountains of our region.

Familia series Feta is produced in the same way since the first day the Papathanasiou dairy was created and represents to a significant degree the Feta that has been produced for centuries in the mountainous regions of Western Greece.

Type of milk: Sheep, small amount of goat.

Taste and other notes: The texture is semi-hard, creamy, and the color is white. The flavor is milky, buttery, round, and full-bodied. The aftertaste is slightly spicy, creamy, pleasant, with distinct elements from pastures and nature.
